kiss4luna
Hi guys! Strange issue. I have two PCs, the same DCS version and the same user account. One can find and download the F-16 module in the module manage menu, the other one can't find it. What could be wrong? The two PCs are not in the same location. Need help. Thanks in advance. QuiGon
I guess one of the PCs is running the Open Beta version of DCS and the other one is running the Stable Release version. The former has the F-16, while the latter has not (yet). Greyman
Maybe it's because it's only licensed for one PC and the account "knows" it is already installed elsewhere?
kiss4luna
didn't find any beta symbol in the one that has F-16. i may go recheck that. thanks! RTX 3070

bbrz
Is it possible to install/run one add-on on more than one PC? i7-7700K 4.2GHz, 16GB, GTX 1070
QuiGon
Is it possible to install/run one add-on on more than one PC? Why shouldn't it? With the old activation system you would just loose another activation and with the new activation system they're just bound to your account. bbrz
Oh, that's great. Didn't know that I can install it on my laptop too! :) Btw, the F-16 product description says that you need 2.5.5 stable! QuiGon
I don't understand why the info on the shop page is wrong. Because it will be true soon, once the F-16 will have been released for the Stable, which can already happen tomorrow. bbrz
This doesn't make sense and this is clearly false advertising. You have to buy it at full price now, you get the info that you can use it with the stable version, but it isn't. i7-7700K 4.2GHz, 16GB, GTX 1070

It does actually say Open beta, not Stable Release: Requires DCS World Open Beta version 2.5.5 or above! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/modules/viper/ Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing! It got updated to 38140 yesterday. So yeah, this machine has the Open Beta installed and hence you can install the F-16 there. kiss4luna
I think the situation in my case is very strange. Yesterday I clean-installed the openbeta and found my control profile needed to be re-configurated. And when I check my saved-games folder I found these. The DCS.openbeta folder is brand new created without any user files. The DCS folder is full of all my files including the F-16 config files and it was created in 10/11. In other words, the "maybe" DCS beta uses my very previous DCS stable version's saved game folder for a very long time (at least for over a year). I don't know how this happens but maybe someone touched my computer and messed up with my DCS installation. RTX 3070
