Patch 1.13 Requested Features/Fixes List (*Merged)

Some things that i really want in LO better.

 

-Missle performance, (AMRAAM)

-Maybe some new map area, or maybe if the community can make more maps? The Crimea is geting a lil bit boring to fly (i can live without new maps, not necessary)

-And please open up the game for further comunity modding. Aircraft FM's, Radars, cockpits etc, etc. That should be able to fix all problems.

Oh and one more thing. In online servers there would be an option, if a player comes up with a modded meinit.xml or with a modded game(after the code is released), the player must download the original meinit.xml from the server. Or if the server uses mods, the player must download the mod before fly. I mean something like Call Of Duty. I guess there will be no more cheaters, LOPE payloaders in the servers.

 

Thats it in a nutshell, If there will be an 1.13 patch after BS. please ED Dont forget Lock On. :joystick:

- Lock down payloads so that client's payload is checked against server's allowable stores on pylon (so you can choose a custom payload, but not put something that the server doesn't permit on a pylon)

 

- Make lua permission 3-leveled:

1. None: No one can export LUA

2. Server: Same as current 'export lua true' but ONLY for server, clients only get local data

3. All: Same as current 'export lua true'

Here's one simple request... I've noticed the "Scan Zone Left" and "Scan Zone Right" commands work on button release but it should be on button press. For example... in F-15, pressing and holding the CTL [ command will slew the radar scan zone left but in the Russian aircraft if I press and hold the same key press (even if I assing [ as command instead of CTL [) the radar scan zone will not change untill I release the key. Can this be fixed so the moment I press the key the radar scan zone command will work.

 

Reason for this is the way I have programmed (can't find any other way) my Cougar in Foxy software. Pressing and holding the button will activate the held down scan zone commant... and it work as its suposed to in F-15 but I find it cofusing a little that when I'm in russian aircraft I need to think I also need to release the button after 100-200ms as if I just press/release the same button in less then 100ms it's programmed as another command.

I think a button for scan zone left/right shouldnt even be there in the US plane.

I think the cursor should always dictate scanzone horizontal position.

They should probably be syncronized. If the real eagle is diff than Falcon and F-18,

then oops

 

but....

they probably are built around the same idea for the radar interface ;)

S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'

Perhaps already mentiond by someone or even by me but I strongly hope for a better fuel efficiency for AI aircraft in LOFC.

 

For instance, I've created a flight of two Ukrainian (AI) MiG-29C Fulcrums taking off from Belbek AB (Crimea), climbing to cruise altitude of 6000 m, maintaining 750km/h TAS and landing to Maykop AB in Kuban. Distance between Belbek and Maykop is cca 550 km. Both planes were equipped with 2XPTB-1150 on stations 3 and 5 and centerline PTB-1500 fuel tanks. No need to mention that none of the aircraft made it to Maykop. Flight leader landed in Krymsk AB, wingman made it to Anapa. That makes the ferry range (not combat) of MiG-29C in LOFC aproximately 380 km and we all know that MiG-29 can cover 2900km ferry if equipped with tanks mentioned above.

 

I know that MiG-29 is pretty shortlegged IRL but this one got no legs at all!

PLanes that have been destroyed should not be still able to fire weapons. THis has never been fixed. I cant understand why.

Makes me wonder if the fuel consumption of AI driven MiG-29S is higher than that of a human piloted MiG-29S:

The electrical connection/avionics to their weapons just got knocked out,

but WTh...

Don't know wether or not already requested, but I'd really like more export.lua informations, especially statuses informations, such as the state of the airbrakes, the canopy opened/closed (supposed to be exported but in fact not), etc..

 

This way, simpitters like me (and many others I know) would be able to create a more efficient cokpit.

 

Some other commands also seems not to work, such as the command to change the azimut setting of the SU-27 radar.:(

 

An other good think would also be to set the different NAV modes with distinct commands, as well as for the taxi lights.

 

And the last (but not least) good tool would be to have a way to send by the LUA the general satus of the aircraft BEFORE releasing the pause (i.e. status in flight or at the apron, the cockpit lights ON/OFF (still don't know the way LockOn decides to switch it on ou off:doh:), and many other stuffs)

I'm sure it's been mentoned several times, but please could we have a reverse function on the track replays, so we can go back in the track without having to reload it.

 

Also, as was mentioned, brighter lights on the Carrier meatball (FLOLS) so you can see it at longer range - it works sometimes on the SU-33, but not consistantly. The meatball lights should be on regardless of whether the pilot has pressed all the right buttons in the cockpit!

Your ideas are too difficult to do.my wishlists are simple.

1.AA radar is broken lock when its beam is vertical to target's course in "down-look" mode.the angle is 90 degree.I wish the angle is 80-100 degree,reality is so.

2.Add gun funnel on F-15C HUD.So I can SILENT kill by cannon.reality is so too.

I have other ideas too,but it is difficult too.

In reality is it not based on angle, it is based on closure, and so it is based in LOMAC as well. And for some radars, you have to be -really- close to 90deg to make this happen.

Just simple, wouldn't it be nice to get a better looking mod/skin of the

Centerline Fuel Tank 610 gal, for the F-4E/F?

The one thats used by the F-4E/F looks really horrible!

I've seen a doc from the DoD/AF dtd approx mid-80's that states the change of the original cft with the one of the F-15C! So, both a/c use the same type.

 

Would be nice to have it!!

-corect Maykop AFB the park area has to be on right side at HDG 220

-corect AIM 120 Model and also add AIM120D long range A2A misile

-corect flaps on Mig29 / F 15 to full flap on landing

-G indicator corect to mark 1G instead of 0G

-New aircraft flyable Su-27Ub two seater dual cockpit and dual controls

for instructor and student , just like in Il21946 the pilot and the guner

-new weapon for A10sim mod ; AGM65E MK83 Suu/23 gunpod

-increase range detection of F15C / Mig29A/S radar

-Add new weapons for Mig29A ( its going be called Mig29*new) with weapons like R27ET R27ER R60MK

-new weapons pack for Su27/ 27UB /33

-new countries ; bulgaria belarus slovakia poland hungary serbia , with flyable planes and , one blank flag wich is free to rest of countries no represented , you can make youre own country like finland :lol::lol:
