Hello,

 

posted same question in Russian speaking forum. What is the effect observed in the video? After the hit there is a lot of smoke then explosion followed by massive fire.

 

Similar Effects:

 

Fougasse shell hit

 

 

 

Shaped charge shell hit

 

 

 

Shaped charge shell hit

 

 

 

 

At the begining i considered this as some late effect of some mixed Shaped charge

shell. Any Ideas ?

Nah, it missed. ATGMs are not proximity fused because proximity effects would not do the job.

Yeah, that's what it reminded me of.

Yeah. UNless I'm wrong, all Russian unguided AT and ATGM, require direct shot to target. Probably cheaper, but the latest ones have incredible penetration.
