e4mafia
Reverb 2 happens to me on: the loading screens (intermittent coming and going a couple of times during loading screen) when bringing up a menu item when rearming. will flicker and "lock" for a second before bringing up the picker list. Will happen again if switching into a new picker list. e.i AA, AG, Bombs, etc. for about 5 seconds after landing into the role selection page of a multiplayer server. I have not played with any settings for VR in WMR, steamVR, or DCS. Maybe a solution lies in there somewhere. Aside from that the Reverb2 is F***ING amazing for me. can read all MFDs without leading forward even an inch. 1 My Box Intel i10-850k, 32GB 3600 DDR, 1TB Crucial M.2 NVMe drive, RTX1080ti "Armor", Rift-S, and a piece of crap low end TM "HOTAS". Sr.
Flickering loading for sure. lobo
Rift CV1 no flickering during loading screens. Reverb G2... mind numbing flickering during loading. Please fix. I'll also add that DCS is the only program I run with the G2 that has this problem. Turns out is a power issue with coming from C direct from the RTX2080 card to placing it on the 3.1 USB PCIE, Express Slot seems to me not enough power is goin g to the headset. I get bluescreen in the head set when turn on DCS World it seems to be only DCS with this issue ATM. PicklePicklePickle
The flickering(looks like an 'interlaced flickering') on the loading screen only happens on my Reverb G2 for me. On the Index and Pimax the flickering does not occur. I beleive the reverb must employ some sort of interlaced method of inter frame smoothing, because it also seems smoother at the same frame rate than the other two headsets. pimp
Isn't this due to WMR not being native VR to DCS? imacken
Didn’t say you did, just making the point that it’s not just DCS - as you were suggesting - as if you do use SteamVR for OpenXR client you see some flickering in loading menus in MSFS. As an aside, there are good reasons for using SteamVR for OpenXR, and they include being able to use fpsVR in MSFS. still, we are getting OT for a DCS forum.
