Santi871 Posted August 24, 2019 Share Posted August 24, 2019 It's possible to STT a track that's far above (further away) or under (closer) the cursor, as long as it's the same azimuth as the TDC (see track). This is incorrect behavior - the radar, upon TDC depress, attempts to STT around the TDC in both azimuth and range (or velocity in velocity search). I've consistently had trouble locking different targets that were on the same azimuth, even if they were 40nm apart. The radar would very frequently just lock the nearest contact on that azimuth.
