PA-Skippy
Hello, I need to understand the rules of file name for lockon For example the SU33 airplane su-33.cmd : airplane gemetry, destruction, LOD su-33-collision.lom : collision boxes (but it can be with the geom file) SU-33-FONAR.cmd : canopy glasses (use for what??) SU-33-OBLOMOK.cmd : destroy airplane on the flore SU-33-OBLOMOK-WING-L.cmd : destroy left wing (I think during the falling down) SU-33-OBLOMOK-WING-R.cmd : destroy right wing Is it right?, where I can find documentation especialy for the FONAR? Is it right?, where I can find documentation especialy for the FONAR? The Fonar is a separate canopy shape which is used by the game in connection with ejection or when taxiing too fast with the canopy open. If it wasn't there, you would only see the canopy dissapear from the aircraft model but not the loose canopy flying away. So it is really a damage part. But what is the difference between CMD and LOM files? Today, we use only one lom file for geometry and collition. But I have some problem regarding the object display behind the canony. some times it drawing sometimes not and I don't understand.
Alfa
But what is the difference between CMD and LOM files? CMD format was the old format used in the Flanker titles, while LOM(Lock On Model) is the new format introduced for Lock-on. Both formats are compatible, but in case both a *.cmd and a *.lom shape by the same name are present in the Shapes folder, the *.lom version will always be the one loaded by the game. Today, we use only one lom file for geometry and collition. But I have some problem regarding the object display behind the canony. some times it drawing sometimes not and I don't understand. I am not sure I understand what you are talking about there - can you elaborate a little further? :) . JJ
