HoBo777
Success, here's a very simple trk file, I'll try and get one like this from the blue flag server too if all you need is data from the ground.SATAL_2019_BANDAR-ABUDHABI_v111-20190607-191957.trk
Viper 9
Can you make a short track, just log in the server, do the startup, show error, then log out, that would be awesome. Hobo was nice and helped me record a track, see the post above! Thanks!

ED Team NineLine Posted June 9, 2019 ED Team Share Posted June 9, 2019 This might be just because the Hornet isn't a Russian aircraft, I am gonna ask Wags when he gets back from Orlando. For SATAL, I wonder if using USAF Aggressors would make more sense than Russia? Furia
Here is the requested track. While the GPS have a valid Aircraft possition the INS does not take that information. Also for some reason the date of the scenario is a factor. on older dates INS does not work neither for USA or Russia Hornets but on moderns dates (I tested it in 2011) it works for USAserver-20190609-141623.trk [sIGPIC]http://menorca.infotelecom.es/~raulurbina/ESA/banner_furia.png[/sIGPIC]

Rex854Warrior
If the GPS isn't working, then maybe the aircraft is not getting initial coordinates (WPT0) for alignement. I can't test this out but maybe punching in waypoint 0 coordinates would make it work. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Ironwulf
Well WP0 is meant to be in the DTC and it aligns to that, however even manually entering it doesn't change that. Also this doesn't *only* work for "USA" It also works for "Australia" - confirmed and tested myself.

We don't have the DTC just yet so perhaps for now it's taking coordinates from the GPS, as a sort of bypass until we get the DTC, but I have no idea. The INS right now seems to be a pretty big mess and works using witchcraft lol. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Ironwulf
Oh I am aware WP0 (and all the other ones) automagically make it in there by what is assumed to be a rudimentary DTC... I guess my point is the system doesn't go 'align to where I am once you work out where that is by an external means' - except perhaps in IFA mode, or CV mode. Ziptie
I am still having the issue with the waypoints being thousands of miles away, map no displaying on HSI / SA page(s). Makes it difficult. Datalink information isn’t displaying, sams, aircraft, etc. also the ddI screens seem to be ever so slightly misaligned as well. Very odd and obviously a touch frustrating/confusing. I can try to save a track file but might need help cause sometimes I’m dense. I’ll try to report back - schedule is busy i7 6700 @4ghz, 32GB HyperX Fury ddr4-2133 ram, GTX980, Oculus Rift CV1, 2x1TB SSD drives (one solely for DCS OpenBeta standalone) Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs Airframes: A10C, A10CII, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-16C, UH=1H, FC3. Ziptie
Still having issues. I saved the track file and attached it. Just loaded the campaign from the Hornet, first mission. Jumped into the carrier and took off. First way point shows 3xxx miles away. No data displays on HSI / SA displays. Got owned but wasn't really trying to do the mission - just trying to give you the info you requested. Thanks, hope it gets fixed. Didn't see the new deck crew either but not sure that I have the required purchased module for it.messed up waypoint on f18 campaign.trk i7 6700 @4ghz, 32GB HyperX Fury ddr4-2133 ram, GTX980, Oculus Rift CV1, 2x1TB SSD drives (one solely for DCS OpenBeta standalone) Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs Airframes: A10C, A10CII, F/A-18C, F-14B, F-16C, UH=1H, FC3.
