Master Arm on? Safty cover/switch on the stick open? There is a bug(?) with the safty cover, you can fire the MG with it closed but not the cannons.

I tried everything and couldn't get the nose cannons to fire. Weapon release works for the wing cannons. What is the name of the button I need to bind for the nose cannons?

There are two buttons on the stick, so check your mapping.

What are the names for these two controls? I can find four different control names: trigger_a, trigger_b1, trigger_b2, trigger_t, which one is which?

I have mapped trigger_a -> 2 x MG in the nose and trigger_b1 -> 4 x cannons. You also need to map the safty entry above the trigger_a to open the safty cover on the stick and be able to fire the cannons, and don't forget to switch master arm on.

Thank you! Yeah seems to be similar to the other German fighters. I was able to get the safety cover off/armed and able to fire the wing canons just not the nose cannons.

I still don't get it.

Input.FW190A8.safety - works as gun safety (appears to be bugged as you can fire cowl guns no matter which position it is)

Input.FW190A8.trigger_b2 - does not do anything

Input.FW190A8.trigger_t - does not do anything

MG131 - does not do anything (and appears grayed out for keyboard and joystick bindings)

MG131/151 - operates cowl guns

Weapon release - did not test

Am I missing something?

The stick buttons are all messed up and needs fixing. On the stick there are 3 buttons/triggers total and safety cover:

1) Main fire trigger - should fire MG131(13mm machine guns in cowling)

2) Top button labeled MG151 - should fire cannons only

3) Top left button on the side of the stick - this is your pickle button used for dropping bombs or firing rockets

4) Safety cover - must be raised in order to be able to fire the cannons

Thus in order to fire all guns you need to press both the main fire trigger and the MG151 button.

The labels in keybinds are all messed up for the stick buttons so i can totaly see where the troubles are coming from. It was trial and error for me aswell.

Neither 'Input.FW190A8.trigger_b2' or 'Input.FW190A8.trigger_t' do anything on my end when I assign joystick buttons or even try keyboard shortcuts. Also 'MG131 fire' cannot be assigned to anything. Anyone else with this problem?

Yes. That's why you need the other ones to bind if you want to fire your weapons.

Can you tell me the names of your assignments and what they do? I already tried all possible options under 'Stick' menu (except of 'MG131 fire' which cannot be used on my end at all) and can't get wing cannon to fire. MG131/151 controls cowl gun only.

Thanks!

Check out what he wrote.

you need a and b1 to fire all canons. also mapped the safety, dont forget to switch the 3 circuit breakers for the weapons.

I don't have 'a' or 'b1' options under stick category:

Strange, my controls options look like this(pic below). Maybe try a DCS repair?

The naming of the commands is will certainly change. But for now, trigger_a is for the 2 13mm MG's in the cowling, and trigger_b1 is for the 4 20mm cannons in the wings.

I have bound trigger_a to the first detent and trigger_b to the second detent on my stick's trigger. So when I pull the trigger all the way back, I fire with all 6 guns.

Important to remember: the cannons only fire if you have lifted the safety catch! The MG fires irrespective.
