Mr_sukebe
interesting how they segregate supercarrier owners from non... Non-owners = no spawn on deck and no landing wire contact... You wont be able to stop if you dont own it... Clever!! How’s that going to work for chopper and harrier owners? Zee Pet
*In reply to above* Still not going to be able to use radios or interact with deck crew. Not much difference from what will be on Stennis except watching the crew work with the Hornets and Cats which is cool. Harrier has its own carrier anyway with the proper length for takeoff. Id imagine it'll be very awkward on the SC to be doing your takeoff run (through the deck crew you can't communicate with to get out of the way) when all the compatible jets are moving around. Sure you can land but I'd argue the experience will be worse than doing so on the empty carriers. =Mac=
For Case II and Case III, will there be a heavy rolling of the SC deck? The IFLOLS has two modes of stabilization: line and inertial. The most precise is inertial stabilization. In line, the glide path is stabilized to infinity. As the deck pitches and rolls, the source lights are rolled to maintain a steady glideslope fixed in space. Inertial stabilization functions like line, but also compensates for the flight deck heave (the straight up and down component of deck motion). If the IFLOLS cannot keep up with the motion of the deck, the LSO can switch to the MOVLAS or simply perform "LSO talk downs." Only the most experienced LSOs will perform talk downs or control aircraft with MOVLAS during heavy sea states. Edited April 3, 2020 by =Mac= added info on IFLOLS The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail... I admire the attention to detail ... is it because it can be viewed from outside so you want it to be complete? I look at this module as expandable. They can expand on a lot of aspects of the SC. For example, adding more rooms/areas and expanding the deck crew's functionality. I think this will be a great base structure to expand upon for future addons to the SC. Maybe even one day we can walk up to the jet and get in or deck crew help startup the jet. A lot of possibilities. =475FG= Dawger
+1 on the single keystroke for this, and maybe an option for auto response as well... Auto seems to be the ideal. And the ability to shut of all the comms and deck crew silliness and just behave as if the Carrier is your personal yacht would be much appreciated. Raisuli
We are all instantly carrier qualified with our module purchase. I can stop on the deck more often than not, but the only reason the aircraft (and cross-deck pendant) can be reused is DCS hasn't modeled the damage I do landing at 950 fps near the left fault line. Since I figured out how to turn on the needles I'm getting better at that, though.

=475FG= Dawger
So why don't you just use the current Stennis? Mind numbing solved! The answer to your question is quite simple. I paid for the Supercarrier in order to be able to create missions with larger numbers of player slots on the carrier. That is all I really want out of it. This is supposed to be a sandbox. I don’t want brick walls in it.
