TonyG
I posted this in the Tomcat forum as well, but hoping someone here may know how to do to. Is there any way to use a settings file to globally change all the presets in the Tomcat? I'd like to align the frequency presets with the existing Hornet ones our Wing uses, without the tedious task of manually editing 35 channels x 20 aircraft in each mission file we use. Thanks in advance!
Tricky11
All you do is place one aircraft in the mission editor. Do the frequencies for that one aircraft and then increase the number aircraft to 4 in that group. And then you can copy and paste the rest of the aircraft groups.. Easy.. TonyG
Yeah, I recognize I can do that. Unfortunately with some of the limitations surrounding the Stennis and multiple aircraft onboard, using more than 1 aircraft in groups isn’t a reasonable suggestion. Now what if I have 5 missions that already have 20 aircraft in it? That’s 1350 frequency changes. So again, is there anyone that can point to how to do this via a settings file to change all the frequencies in the mission?
Tricky11
The other way i have down it is opening the mission file within the mission MIZ file with notepad++ and edit them in there.
TonyG
Thanks, I had also looked at that, slightly less tedious, but not quite the silver bullet I was hoping for! Thanks Tricky.
