F-14 Tomcat loading times

I suspect a memory leak on behalf of ED's latest OB build. I too experience delayed loading times. however, if I fly the F-14 or any other aircraft long enough, terrain tiles fail to load in completely and the terrain starts getting blurry. About 10 minutes later, CTD.

Specs:

4.7Ghz processor

64GB RAM

RTX 2080Ti FTW Ultra 3

Resolution 3840x2160

DCS on SSD

Longer loading times with a black screen at the end. Takes 4-5 seconds to get from black screen to the pit in both, SP and MP. Specs see signature.

Same here...

Specs in my Sig, this long load time occurs in all aircraft but loading an SP mission in a performance-light airframe like the A10C then loading into multiplayer works, but the texture pop-in is pretty horrible, too many separate objects in the pit maybe? SinglePlayer load times for the F-14 are also pretty horrid.

Pentium G4560, GTX 1050Ti, 8GB Avexir Core series

A10C - Block 5+7, AV8B/NA Harrier, F-14B.

Pentium G4560, GTX 1050Ti, 20GB's total, 1x16GB Kingston Hyper X, And a 1x4GB Avexir Core Series kit, fleamarket mouse/keyboard, i swear it works fine :megalol:

Experienced longer loading times too, especially in MP. To get into the RIO pit takes about a minute and a half, after the same amount to load the textures (both external and cockpit).

Specs:

Gigabyte z170x-ud3

16GB 3000MHz RAM

EVGA 1070

Kingston SHSS37A240G SSD SATA (Windows 10 Version 10.0.17763.379 + DCS)

In SP loading times are not bad. But in MP it takes several minutes to load all cockpit textures. And after spending a minute in the cockpit DCS crashes to desktop. In SP i can perfectly fly the aircraft but not in MP.

FPS is good 60+FPS in nevada easily.

CPU: i7-2600K @4,5Ghz

RAM: 16gb

GPU: GTX1080

HDD: DCS on seperate SSD

Singleplayer load times are noticeably longer, and multiplayer can take a couple attempts and 5-10 minutes to get into a server. Singleplayer performance is fine (maybe slightly less than other modules) but multiplayer performance is abysmal. On a busy server (Through the Inferno, Georgia At War) I will stop to a steady 8-13fps (as reported in-game) with 2-10% GPU load and 15-30% CPU load. Other modules are usually 25-30+fps.

Windows 10, DCS in high priority, minimal background applications. Only around 12gb of RAM is showing as being used, all 11gb VRAM though.

Loading times are longer in SP and MP are longer than usual, but not unmanageable. Crashes are more frequent in MP doing things like going to the kneeboard.

Loading times are a little longer than normal, for my system crashes to desktop is the main problem. Can't see a clear issue, but seems to happen only when performing tasks (as in not random), using different systems etc.. Don't think i've had a crash while doing "nothing" (which is most of the flight)

I'm doing my part. Loading takes significantly longer than other modules in the Car it seems, but it's not really causing me any grief right now.

Definitely longer load times for me. Once the mission loads up (only Singleplayer, all missions) I get the briefing screen popup, and a black screen behind it, for a while, at least 20 - 30 seconds (I don't get that with any other module), before I have a cockpit loaded in. I'm guessing texture related? I deleted metashaders and metashaders2 and didn't seem to fix this specific issue.

No Issues either in SP or MP with the 14. Although I have noticed on the initial load of the cockpit the textures maybe take an extra 1 to 2 seconds to load

I noticed a prolonged time entering the cockpit in both SP and MP, but once loaded I find the Tomcat really light as frames.

I just hope that the outcome of this thread imposed by HB is experimentation and/or research to find the extrema of specifications needed to run the Tomcat. My fingers are crossed that they can find some way to make it load faster via. making the texture maps smaller or simplifying the scripts loading.
