norbot Posted December 22, 2018 Share Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) TACAN on CVN INS in the A-4E works great, but I can't find a carrier's TACAN signal. I'm setting the channel I chose in the "Mission Editor" but nothing happens. I hear no Morse-Code an the BDHI indicates no direction for TACAN. I turned TACAN on, waited for 3 minutes, then switched to T/R, BDHI to TACAN with the correct channel and... nothing. :huh: What's your experience with TACAN? Just tried it with the TACAN station at Kasab airfield. Works fine. Probably just the carrier TACAN doesn't work? A sata 2tb storage and 2 M.2 drives. 1 is 1tb, 1 is 500gb. Valve Index, Virpil t50 cm2 stick, t50 base and v3 throttle w mini stick. MFG crosswind pedals. Thanks in advance! For weapon tables, the ones on Heclak Guide are best, as they were determined by actual experimentation with the A-4E .. Wheelyjoe's Guide used the real F-5E tables instead, but they don't really match the A-4E Mod. Best regards.
