Omega Oska
When no AWACS is available, it seems that the only way to find out it's position is by locking it up. But I found that after locking it up, it will not extend the probe for me to refuel ( and this is a bug?). Moreover, the default range where it will give you the required airspeed and altitude is a bit too close for me. As I prefer starting my preparation early. Shouldn't there be radion commwith the tanker?
DPS
Locking up the tanker with the radar to get its speed usually works for me - as long as you keep your finger off the fire button. Here's a little tutorial I did for the A-10 which might help: I gave up on the Su-33 refuelling as it got to be hard work with FC.
Omega Oska
Thanks, that is a nice tutorial. But the A10 cannot locate a tanker on its own? I hope ED can add radio comm with the tanker in Black Shark. BTW, sometimes the tanker just won't extend the basket/boom. Is this a bug or what? thesystem
@DPS... Refueling the Su-33 is just the easiest thing! The basket moves with you so even when you are going a bit to fast just sow down and the basket will extend again....nothing hard about it DCS World, A10C, AV8B, M2k, FA18C, FC3, MIG21
