LucShep
DCS: A-10A (+FC3) - "HORSE of WAR" (by RICARDO) HD Worn Cockpit [CONVERSION] Built and tested on DCS World version 1.5.8 Not tested, but should also work with other versions (1.5.x and 2.x.x) This mod is compatible with cockpit livery format (can be enabled or disabled via Customized Cockpit menu in the game options). It will work on the standalone A-10A and the Flaming Cliffs 3 module (where the aircraft is included). It is an adaptation, a conversion of sorts, from the amazing "HORSE of WAR" HD Cockpit textures pack, which Ricardo previously made and released for DCS: A-10C Warthog. Ever since I got into the A-10A of DCS, I've looked everywhere for something like it but found nothing. So I decided to do it myself, basing directly on those textures. I haven't succeed in contacting Ricardo (for permissions), only got response from Devrim, who has previously handled Ricardo's textures for DCS World. Devrim kindly responded to my call, informing that he too hasn't been able to get contact from Ricardo lately. Therefore, I've decided to release this mod on a basis of "fair use" and "as is", in hope that when Ricardo sees this he understands noone is disrespecting any of his work. Credit where credit's due. The foundation of this conversion/adaptation mod was fully built upon Ricardo's A-10C cockpit textures (which are nothing short of amazing). That should be made clear at the same time I'm also sharing this with the DCS community. My thanks also to Devrim, who quickly assisted with the description.lua, for cockpit livery format compatibility. Just like before with the A-10C, these textures make a dramatic change (for the better) in the cockpit visuals of the A-10A, as you'll certainly realize. Simple installation notes are in the "READ ME.txt" provided in the ZIP package. LucShep
Just a quick note to say that, for a bried period, there was an outdated version of this mod (with errors) available on the User Downloads section of the official ED website, uploaded by myself. For some reason the file management system in there was not letting me update it to a newer version, nor edit details, not even delete it(????). Meanwhile, the file has been deleted from the User downloads list at ED, by my request. I will be re-uploading the mod there later. But, for now, please use the download links provided above in the first post of this thread, which will have the most up-to-date info. . Sierra99
Honestly one of the reason I seldom fly the A-10 was the shiny clean cockpit...thanks for doing this. Devrim
I'm back. I can't send a file via P.M. Please download the zip file. Folder structure is Liveries/Cockpit_A-10A/HorseWar/. > Put all DDS files in the HorseWar folder (you can rename HorseWar as desired). > Liveries folder must be placed in ../Saved Games/DCS/ folder (or DCS.openbeta). Now you can select the mod in OPTIONS page / SPECIAL tab / FC3 (or A-10A) row / Customized Cockpit menu. Somehow I managed the issue on my own, found a thread where it's somewhat explained (here) and I got to this description.lua Extractor, made the necessary changes, and already uploaded a newer version of the mod. :smartass:  In anycase, I'm (again) gratefull for your assistance. :) thanks so much I think I can consider the mod finished (happy with it) and call it a day. So, if at some point, you have ideas to improve same mod and any part of this one can help, please do so, Devrim. Edited September 15, 2018 by LucShep Spoiler Win10 Pro x64 | Intel i7 10700KF (all core OC 5.0GHz) | 32GB DDR4 (3466MHz CL16) | RX 5700XT 8GB | 256GB(OS) + 500GB SSDs | 1TB + 3TB HDDs | 650W PSU (Seasonic 80+Gold) 32'' 1080P 75Hz (IPS) | M-Audio USB + Samson SR850 | X52 Pro + TrackHat (w/OpenTrack)

Rudel_chw
I much prefer individual Mods ... packaging them as single units takes away your flexibility and makes it harder to pinpoint conflicts.
