Shipping Update: I am slowly getting freed up from the COVID projects for the regional hospitals as Carol continues to take more of the lead.

 

I have started to send out invoices for this group in the order the order the request were received. I am sending out reminders about the Aux Buttons that are now available and can ship with your kits. If you haven't already, and would like to add the HMS buttons, just send an email to

orders@pointctrl.com and put in the the subject line :Your "Call sign/Add Aux Buttons"

Can you say for certain which number you are currently serving? How close are you to 350 at the moment?

Sorry Miles, does this mean that currently the AUX button banks are only available to those in the current group order for kits? Those who the purchased the kit in previous groups should wait until the current group is complete or until the ordering capability is up and running on the website - a little confused? If so, when would the website ordering likely happen? I think it's an excellent addon for what is already a vr game changer Cheers

Hey Hammer, I have 10 more invoices to send from this current group. I am testing the renaming and last units available today.

 

I am still waiting on bare PCBs for the new smaller FCUs. I wish I could say with certain when the next groups invoices will go out, but I can't. I will probably call up to 375 next week, but I know I will end up waiting on the new PCBs for at least a few weeks.

 

Once they come in, and now that COVID seens to be winding down in this area, I should be able to bring help back in, and pick up what I hope is a speedy production.

 

Thanks to everyone patience, I know the wait is frustrating.

Hi Mr Mojo, I was hoping to use the button banks as an e-commerce test for the web-site. I am still trying to figure how to reduce the international shipping from 14.00.

 

If you want to add your name to a back-up list for the button banks just do the following

 

send an email to orders@pointctrl.com and put in the the subject line :Your "Call sign/Add Aux Buttons"

If there s much more of a delay on the website, I will just send out invoices to you guys

There are 7 customers in front of you, and I don't know if I will have enough PointCTRL v1s to get through this list. I am still waiting on the bare PCBs for PointCTRL v2.

 

Parts shipments have slowed dramatically. I am moving into a bigger space and setting up full production for several products. As soon as shipments of parts and supplies resume, we should be on track to get through this list very quickly.

 

We will also be announcing several new flight sim products when we finish up with the COVID assistance projects.

 

I know a lot of you guys are stuck home, and have the time to use this stuff, and are a bit frustrated. Please know that we are doing the best we can right now.

Yea, you are right, it normally it goes like this,

 

1) We post the now serving numbers, give it a few days for everyone to submit their orders via ordrers@pointctrl.com

 

2) We then place each specific order in its own divided bins, (HMS, FCUS, Aux button, Chargers ect.)

 

3) When the bins are full for the group, Carol then sends out the invoices while I test each kit as one complete unit, chargers, HMS, FCUs, Aux buttons ext.

 

4) When the invoices are paid, we can print the shipping labels and package the kits and take them to the post office.

 

There is usually something that slows things down a bit but thats usually the plan.

 

This time, since we are behind because of other projects I am sending invoices out as I get a chance to finish kits.

 

Again, we are hoping to have inventory and new customers will be able to order right of the website soon.

It looks like I can put together about 10 more PointCTRL 1.0. The delays for parts does not seem to be getting any better, so I really don't have a good estimate on PointCTRL 2.0 being available.

 

I will be emailing the the rest of the current group to see who would like a current 1.0 or wait for the 2.0. I will go in order, so you may not get an email right away.

Hey Guys,

 

To order the Aux Buttons for now just send Carol an email at orders@pointctrl.com with your call sign and AUX BTNS in the subject line. Include the country being shipped to in the body.

US. Shipping is $3.75 and I am trying a method of international that is only $4.50 USD. We will see if it works, If not international shipping will have to be $13.50USD.

 

Price for each tripple button bank with cable and double face tape attached is $12.50USD each, or $25.00USD for a pair.

I do want to make everyone aware the Aux connectors were not part of the original testing cycle, so their may be a connection issue with some early production. I have not had any reported issues, but I just wanted to make you aware that the possibility exist.

 

If they don't function properly, and you have a soldering iron, its a quick fix. If you don't have a soldering iron, you can send back the HMS and I will make the fix.

 

Don't forget to update to the latest stable version firmware 042120 and the the v4 GUI/VA.

 

Firmware Password password is on your invoice, Just discord me if you can't find it.

Did anyone found out yet what exactly causes Windows 10 to create those additional monitors?

 

I thought the problem somehow got solved with one of the latest Win10 updates as I didn't have the issue for a very long time. But yesterday, all of a sudden my PointCTRL got stuck in the upper left corner again and I had to disable 5 freshly created imaginary monitors...

 

I think it happened when I restarted DCS, but that could have been a coincidence
