How to turn off modern day radio chatter?

I flew the first mission last night and love the UK radio chatter that pops up on the right side of the screen but was thrown by the US radio chatter that kept appearing on the left of the screen, using modern day acronyms like BRAA and Bullseye etc. While that suits the A-10C era, it is wildly out of place in 1940 Normandy.

 

Q. Can I switch the modern radio off and just keep the campaign radio communication?

Unfortunately that's hardcoded, and no matter how much work is put into voiceovers, you'll always hear the stock modern US chatter. You can turn the radio off, but then you can't give commands to your flight such as engage bandits and so on.
