Sr.
How are you measuring “improvement”, I typically see between 2 and 3ms improvement in GPU frame times Mostly from what I see, the in game FPS counter, FPSVR(Steam), and the SteamVR headset GPU graph. Just not that much difference in the counters (GPU & CPU). What is very noticeable is the jaggy/shimmery look with the mod applied. Shadows, top of the HUD have jagged edges... not to mention sitting on the runway looking toward buildings and parking area (Nellis) AMD Ryzen R9 3900X | 32GB DDR4 3600| NVidia 1080 Ti | Samsung 970 Evo 1TB NVME | Vive Cosmos Elite | Logitech RGB X 56 H.O.T.A.S. Sr.
I've noticed lately when the light is just right, as I'm flying around a target range the targets appear as tiny white dots in normal viewing. When I use VR zoom or spyglass zoom the dot effect goes away. It's almost like a column of vehicles with their daytime running lights on. Edit: Saw this is the recent change log post night time unit visibility, flickering white dots - fixed. speed-of-heat
In 2.5.6 (I can't remember which exact version) you get transparent water, you can see this at beaches or over the Persian Gulf free flight missions when flying low, the base shaders mod, removes this for performance optimisation reasons. my clear water version of the mod puts it back... 2 SYSTEM SPECS: Hardware Intel Corei7-9700K @ 5.1 GHz, 32Gb RAM, EVGA 3090 XC3, Dell S2716DG, Thrustmaster Warthog + MFG Crosswinds V2, HP Reverb G2 @ 2836 x 2768 SOFTWARE: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro x64, VoiceAttack & VIACOM PRO, TacView VR Stuff: My Settings for 3090 and G2 My Settings for 1080ti Shaders MOD for VR My variant of Kegetys mod with clear water and also IC PASS for current beta & stable, Patch Status
