Broken TACAN or user error?

Before I call anything a bug, I want to make sure it's not user error. In the ME, I placed the Stennis, edited the TACAN from "1" to "74", on X. Start on the ramp, cold. Fire everything up, wait for the INS, switch to NAV. Set the TACAN on the UFC via TCN, On, CLR, 7, 4, Ent. Select TCN on the HSI. I get an indication in the HSI, cannot edit a course, and while the carrier is traveling east at 27 knots, it seems the TACAN beacon is remaining at the initial starting point. Also, if I go to the DATA page from the HSI, then check TACAN info, it shows 1x instead of 74x to which it was set in the ME. This is post todays update. If I'm doing it wrong, I'm ok with that, but what am I doing wrong?

No issue on my side, created a brand new mission test on today's OB Updates, droped a carrier in Persian Gulf Map, heading 270, Tcan 74x at 27 kts. Only diff i do as i learend with the turtorial i'Ve found, i set all my stuff while INS is aligning, so Tacan is et by the time my INS is ready and all ready to go by the time he does finish. As mostly you do, i press TCN On on UFC, as soon as i see the Tacan stop spinning around on the HSI and it registered, i then press TCN on the HSO, then click the CRS swith until CRS appears on the UFC, then enter 270 on the keypad of the UFC, pretty much what you must be doing as well... i dunno what is the issue...

Yes no issues here also. Just did a fresh carrier mission and several traps. Maybe try repair.

On a side note, multi monitors exporting DDI's is working now.

I exited and restarted, built another carrier mission, and the first one for whatever reason, had the TACAN some 80 miles south of the actual carrier and stopped counting down range at 83.7 miles, and remained at 83.7 miles while I was riding along the deck. I did a "Ctrl+R" and then it was where it should have been, and behaving properly. I have no idea what happened there.

Hey MurderOne, I have the similar issue when I go to "Data" page from top level HSI page.

I set the Stennis TCN to 74x in editor. Of course I had reconfigure identifier and uncheck "bearing" in Advanced option (it was set to tanker)

I spawned on the boat hot and ready to go. Selected 74x, set the course line - no issue there. Then I pressed DATA > TCN just to see what was there. It showed chann 16x and coordinates?

Shouldn't this be showing currently selected TCN with bearing, range, elev and MVAR?

Another thing is why do we have to hit On/Off just to activate the scratchpad? Shouldn't this be for activating functions (except A/P)

Side Note: Multi monitor exporting is working. Could you be a little more specific on how to do it?
Sent you a PM
