I think you guys need to chill out! There still hasn't been any official notice about the release, and here you guys are spamming the update button every two minutes on the updater. No need to break the server back end _before_ it releases...

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't it have been logical to release the update for 2.5 Open Beta before releasing the new F/A-18C module since the former is required for the latter? I mean when I start up 2.5 Beta the F/A-18C module is right there and it allows me to attempt to install it.

 

 

Isn't this a little backassward? Prepaid on the day the announced, waited literally months, and now this. Sorry if I sound a little ungrateful, just a little disappointed at the moment. I've really been looking forward to fooling around with the F/A-18C.

I dont think anyone is ungrateful, everyone's just a little on edge there was some major hype built up around this release, and its natural for people to want it ASAP.

its only freaking 9:48 AM they will get it out TODAY. they didnt say when.. they said today. relax and go to work and come home and it will be ready.

No need to correct you. ED obviously ****ed something up and at this moment are probably pulling out their hair and yelling at each other over this....it will be resolved i'm sure.

Failed to get auth data Error code 503

 

Hey guys,

 

Just trying to download F18C and tried launching DCS 2.5 open beta... I get an error that says "Failed to get authorization data. Error code is 503. Using Saved authorization."

 

Then when it does launch and I pick F18C to download from modules, I get "Version 2.5.217559.377 is not available" during the update/download process.

 

Any help? :(
