Use these guys they will make adapters for your odyssey that snap right on. I've been using mine without issue. I also wear contacts but after work when I get home I take my contacts out so these made flying less tiring at the end of the day.

Hello ! Did you order this link? Is there some more: https://vroptician.com/prescription-lens-inserts/samsung-odyssey/ . I have a +1.5 vision. Farsightedness. My doctor did not give me a prescription, said that I only have + 1.5 and no more other numbers. Here I think, too, to order.

I wore my glasses and it scratched my lenses and you can’t replace the lenses only. I asked. Depending on your prescription you can fly without your glasses. It might look a little fuzzy

Regarding budget.....VR has a tendency to mess with that. I spent an additional $700 after buying the hmd on sale. I got another GPU and PSU.

I highly advise against wearing glasses with the Odyssey+. There is not a lot of room and you WILL scratch them. Just be patient and get the prescription lenses or get yourself some contacts.

These are protective lens covers only , available in many sizes and slightly curved to conform to watch crystals (and headset lenses) . I have had them on my Rift headset for some 3 months now , and am very happy with them both functionally and clarity-wise . I fly every day , with glasses , and as yet i see no marring of the lens protectors .

Thanks ! Sorry, another question. Do these protective covers just have to be put on VR lenses, or glasses? I have Odyssey +.

Well I had bought an Odyssey Plus and I was wondering is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of the head tracking. I really am having a hard time turning my head to the desired distance ingame as it seems a little off.

I am going to get the prescription lens for these things and hopefully that will help as there really is NO room for glasses and my head..

I hope to get them soon as not being able to see properly in VR is weird..

I have a GTX2070, i7 4770 and 16GB and I have no problems in single player with a Lenovo Explorer. Never tried multiplayer though. I never bothered to check the FPS but it's smooth enough. In multiplayer you will have to lower the details for sure.

Why would you want to adjust the head tracking? It is 1:1. This isn't a TrackIR...

Yes I realise it is not trackIR but when I am in the jet when I look back it does not quite make it all the way around to see behind me..

so If I was able to adjust it in that part of the tracking I would be able to see behind me..

Nothing wrong with having the choice to adjust as it is not working 1:1 as far as I see it..

Well if you ever find out what your FPS are Please let me know..telling me it looks smooth is not telling me the number of FPS.. I was trying to determine what others are getting and see why mine seem to be stuck at 45FPS??

Changing it would increase your chance of getting motion sickness.

Why not just lean over harder for a look, like you would in a real aircraft?

You cant really see directly behind you. If you are talking about the odd, look directly behind you, TrackIR behavior that wont happen in VR. VR is more realistic in head movement and that type of nonsense is not what its meant for. Not to mention, doing that will likely make you motion sick as it will screw with your head.
