Eaglewings
A module with a modern avionic suite like this and if I am not mistaken, the first aircraft to have a air-ground radar implemented in dcs would be in the league of the F-14, FA-18C and F-16 in terms of price. I am open for surprises though. It is somewhat intriguing that a module that is a few weeks from being released has no hints on price or if it is going to be launch in early access or not. YoYo
I’m expecting it to be $70-$80 I dont, its not a plane from top of the top and so expected like F-14, F-16 or F-18. 49 or 59$ will be max for me and I hope I will use ED miles ;D. shaHeen-1
Ideally it should be priced according to its quality which, considering its technology and that its a nearly finished module on release, should merit $80 at least. But I don't know what the west-bias will do.

The Harrier is not "top of the top" either and it's $70. The only things that are $60 or less are historical and/or fairly limited capability type aircraft. I'm expecting $70-$80 as well. CommanderRabb
I always expected it would be similarly priced to the Hornet and Tomcat and from what I can see it looks like they've earned the right to ask that price. Modules - F-18, F-16, Spitfire, F-5, Supercarrier, F-14, A10-C, MiG-21, Huey

rrohde
I would gladly pay $99 and more (for any DCS module, really). Nothing wrong with supporting my hobby with a little more love ($$$), considering how DCS - which is the focal point of my hobby including all its modules - is still far cheaper than the hardware needed to drive everything. Software sells hardware, but the software here is just peanuts (too cheap)- which, considering the huge development effort going into every module - is a real shame. Also, the extreme amount of hours I get from DCS compared to the cost-of-ownership doesn't jive; modules need to really creep up in price for ED and 3rd parties' sustainment. Anyway, cannot wait for the JF-17. PC: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X | MSI Suprim GeForce 3090 TI | ASUS Prime X570-P | 128GB DDR4 3600 RAM | 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD | Win10 Pro 64bit Gear: HP Reverb G2 | JetPad FSE | VKB Gunfighter Pro Mk.III w/ MCG Ultimate VKBcontrollers.com

Now it is (the sale is present for 34,99$ ;D), but the first price of Harrier was 49,99$. Harlikwin
It is somewhat intriguing that a module that is a few weeks from being released has no hints on price or if it is going to be launch in early access or not. It is kinda funny given the hype fest of other modules in the past. Though to be honest, the F16 seemed quite tame in that regard too IMO. So maybe devs have learned something. As for EA, yes they've said as much, you won't have all the functionality right away, but most of it. I'm cautiously hoping it will be like the F14 release (a bit less buggy hopefully). Where we got a mostly working/functional plane with some planned addons. New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, HP Reverb (formermly CV1) Old-N-busted: i7 4720HQ ~3.5GHZ, +32GB DDR3 + Nvidia GTX980m (4GB VRAM) :joystick: TM Warthog. TrackIR, Rift CV1 (yes really). VC
Well, Heatblur went way over the top with their F-14 teasing and pre-release hype but in that case I feel it was justified. Stuff like the MiG-19 and some WWII planes have, on the other hand, snuck in half un-noticed recently. Personally, I had no idea what a JF-17 was until recently but I read its design and history and was immediately very, very interested. Other people may not be so easy to hype up about a Chinese/Pakistani jet they haven't heard of and isn't already cemented in their immagination. Better to undersell and impress disproportionately, especially as a newcomer. The low-key release suits it in that sense. People "in the know" are quitely hyped, it will turn up and then everyone else will be rudely awakened by the sound of Thunder. ;) Edited November 25, 2019 by VC VC =X51= Squadron is recruiting!
