End F/A-18C in the US Navy

All F/A-18s going to USMC will go-to Cecil Field to be converted to C+ Standard.

This is actually good. USMC hornets are in terrible shape right now to the point where certain tail numbers are only cleared for certain mission types. No BFM or ACM in some tail numbers because they're afraid of the fatigue pushing the airframe past the limit.

It's so upsetting the current state of our USMC Hornet fleet, all because nobody wanted to buy the Super Hornet & the F-35 took so long.

Their Fleet is less than 40% Operational... and the ones that are airworthy are only able to do specific missions due to Airframe hours.

 

They shot themselves in their own foot.
