Hi !

Does someone has Nvidia G-Synch working with 2.5 ?

It don't work for me (same settings and Alt+enter to go true full screen) and I have lot of stuttering when flying low even if my fps are between 40 and 50.

the only solution for gsync to work properly:

1) in game VSYNC must be on

2) in nvidia control panel VSYNC must be on "controlled by application"

3)Gsync in nvidia control panel ON

4)refresh rate: maximum possible

I have Vsync ON in control panel, not in DCS.

I will try to invert.

G-Sync is broken with 390.77 driver currently if you chose Full Screen and Windowed option in NV panel.

Post`s 49-51 is the start of some fixes, you need to roll back to a previous driver until (if)they fix it.

Can anyone else confirm this? I have G-Sync 1ms monitor and 980ti. I had V-Sync off as I thought it was an alternate system to be used with monitors not capable of G-Sync.

I have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed (as of yesterday) and am getting some issues with movement. Specifically if I have a wingman and I move my head at a medium speed, it looks like the wingman is going into warp speed (a blur behind or in front of the aircraft depending on which way I move my head).

In game VSYNC just denies the hardware G-Sync. So it is not corect Goa's explanation.

It is G-Sync or V-Sync ... cannot have both in the same time.

That`s correct, in game V-sync will override G-sync too off. And i`m using 388.43 Nvidia driver which was the last working driver i`ve found without any issues for me in DCS.

Thanks, that's what I thought.

GSYNC must alwway run together with vsync otherwise you will get a lot of tearing,

take a read here https://www.blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/

It's been all over the forums, vsync does not block gsync....on the contrary it helps it...

Turn on gsync AND vsync in nvidia control panel.

No in game vsync.

Works just fine for me. I additionally use FPS limiter in riva turner for 97 fps, as my monitor is 100Hz gsync enabled.

Best way to monitor if the gsync is enabled is via fps indicator enabled from the monitor osd. This shows the actual monitor refresh rate.

I can see when I'm not Alt+Enter full screen mode, that the in game fps varies, but the monitor refreshrate stays at 100. When enabling full screen mode (and thus also the gsync), both the in game fps indication and the monitor refreshrate vary, but stay in sync ...and this is also the most clear image i get, no tearing.
