Meyomyx
Of course - but I'd have to change the models in a mission before importing, then change them back again after. At the moment, CF ignores the Hercules. If it could be included, that would be great
Meyomyx
Great work! A couple of minor issues; If you re-import a mission that already has a kneeboard created from CF, it doesn't delete the previous Mission Cards - so you get 2 sets of mission cards. In other words, the original mission cards are not overwritten if you create a newer, updated set. Also, importing a mission with a set TOT, the import doesn't seem to pick up a set 500kt inbound speed from IP to TGT. Rather, it's interpolated the speed between the 2 fixed time points, ignoring the GS at the TGT fixed point. Of course, the effect of this is that all the interpolated times between the 2 fixed time points don't match .. edit .. actually creating a flight plan in CF doesn't seem to like a fixed TOT with a specific GS from the IP. Thanks a lot Edited December 16, 2020 by Meyomyx
AG-51_Thud
X 2 on multiple copies of kneeboards mentioned before my post. Perhaps a button to clean up previous kneeboards when loading new ones I absolutely love this tool. The idea of being a mission planner vice a mission builder is so much more appealing. Looking forward to seeing some additional tutorials. There are so many new features.

The C-130 and C-17 aircraft have already been there. If you mean the AI (Air Interdiction) task (a.k.a Ground Attack in DCS), this task is not available for those aircraft. You need to select either task 'Transport' or task 'Nothing'. i7 7700K 4.5GHz | GTX1080Ti 11GB | 32GB DDR4 | NVMe M.2 500GB SSD & 3TB HDD | Oculus Rift CV1 & Touch | TM Warthog | MFG Crosswind | MonsterTech mounts Win10 64-bit [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] CombatFlite.com | Twitter @CombatFlite | YouTube Channel
VeeSPIKE
Edit: This appears to be cleared up as of version 1.1.1.4. Working on setting up a basic Transport/Escort mission. I was adding the escort flight, and opened the aircraft configuration window from the left sidebar. I made all my changes, and copied to all flight members. The attached image shows where I am stuck. The configuration window is on top of everything else and will not close. It will minimize, and I can move it, but remains on top. Alt-F4 does not close the window. In order to get out, I had to force close the program. Nothing about this is particularly complicated, and I am only about ten minutes into the mission setup at this point. Am I missing something obvious? Edited January 1 by VeeSPIKE This is fixed.

AG-51_Thud
Greetings Andrew. Once you build or import an existing mission just select the briefing button and let It auto generate your mission briefing . You can regenerate the briefing as you work on the mission. The amount of data it is capturing for the briefing is impressive. What you see in my attached pdf is displaying things directly from what I did in CombatFlite. I will add the ATO and Tasking later. Andrew u.k.
Cheers, dmpi, I need to add those to mine.I'm just getting in to writing multi squadron missions for our group, I like the snapshot and opacity features. It makes it nice and easy to export it to something like slides. I also like the layers aspect. I'm interested in how to present a brief to a multiplayer squadron group before flying the mission. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1woyF3EJ0HAyN7ZCX7_q4RYyDkouAaPw2HeniBATADvk/edit?usp=drivesdkSent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk
