Conroy
It's correct we don't feel nothing elese than a drop speed? There are not vibrations, noise down behaviour ecc. ecc.
Aristenn
I've dropped my gear at about mach 1 and my pilot passed out from the G-forces. But that was at least two patches ago.
Conroy
Not so high....:pilotfly: I'm talking about a speed above the landing gear deployment speed, just to feel you did something wrong.
CrashO
Sometimes I feel it, sometimes I don't. Not sure what the "threshold" is. I know deploying gear above ~270kts is not encouraged. But I use it regually as an airbrake at speeds > M1.5 and no bumps or whatsoever happen :D And also have had times where I used it on a slightly speedy approach at 400kts, and had the whole plane shake.
