TekaTeka
You don't have to wear a cap anymore. Hey all: TrackClip Pro is almost here! TrackIR 4 and TrackIR 3 Vector users can now attach our active LED headset clip right to their favorite over the ear style headset and have full 6DOF control of the view in their favorite simulator. This product has been requested for a long time and we are very happy to finally announce it. Look for an official launch soon, and pre-orders around the 1st of December. This early forum post is to answer questions related to the TrackClip Pro tracking selection in our new Beta software, which has been posted today. -------------------- Jim NaturalPoint http://forum.naturalpoint.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Number=21122&an=0&page=0#Post21122 New software version 4.1.029 beta 4 is available, too. http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06-support/support-download-software-and-manuals.html EDIT: Now you can see the image. S77th-konkussion
This is great! My 2Pro is working fine- but I was not looking forward to wearing that current monstrosity when I eventually have to replace it.. Ukr_Alex
I hope its reasonably priced. If its over 25$ then forget it...shipping tax and all that boosting it to 40$ is not worth it. :Core2Duo @ 435FSB x 7 3.05GHz : ATI x1900xtx: 2GB Patriot @ 435Mhz : WD 250Gb UATA: Seagate 320Gb SATA2: X-Fi Platinum:

Ice
Not mut use for me. I wear my headset around my neck and only use the mike. I cant stand headphones
SuperKungFu
I would just like to know how will it work since most of trackir tech is based on reflectors, if this is only to one side and if you turn your head covering the reflection, how will it detect it. Unless this is some new tech. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

VapoR
I guess you will have to move the TrackIR itself off to the side the clip will be, that way the clip will stay in view of the sensor.

Prophet_169th
I wont be buying it either. I have no issues wearing a cap, nor the current clip. The hat I used is from a Blue Angels air show anyways... how could I fly without it... I got the lead to sign it :) Was gonna have the rest sign, but the parents were getting mad at me for pushing their dear children out of the way. J/K, I didnt get the rest because I wanted all the kids to get in and talk with the pilots, maybe they will see a flightsim like LockOn and pester mommy to buy it hehe. Heck thats how I got started. Saw one local air show.. and it was over.

ARM505
Well, this still seems utterly pointless to me (and for 40 USD too!) - who could possibly have an absolute need to have that? Whats wrong with the cap, or attaching the reflectors to the headset? I don't get it....
kydius
Damn that's quite expensive! But do you absolutely need a headset to make it work? Couldn't you just clip it to your ear? (and still be comfortable)
