Coxy_99
This bird would be great for troop dropping any plans on this?
Ala13_ManOWar
Should be an IA, definitely!! May be a bit useless as flyable, but she's such a beauty I don't think that would matter. Anyway I already use current modules for a Flight Simulator stroll now and then :D. S! "I went into the British Army believing that if you want peace you must prepare for war. Coxy_99
Yes definitely A.I for troop drop taking over an airfield and so on. Also give the 109 and 190 something else to shoot at to.
philstyle
From what I can gather, the US alone used 800 C-47s on DDay. They were an absolutley integral part of the allied air effort... would be a shame to have DDay without them - at least as an AI machine to populate the skies with! Buzzles
It's on VEAO's road map as a potential aircraft they might do. Personally, DCS would need to support paratroop dropping, cargo dropping and loading at the very least for it to be viable, and the module would also probably need to include the gunship version too. Coxy_99
I would not mind it as A.I to start then a full module also, It fits and was used in Normandy.
NeilWillis
There is a 3rd party AI Dakota already. We could do with it being able to drop paras, and possibly in the future maybe one modelled to the same standard as the ED B-17? It is important for the Normandy campaign of course.
