Darkfury
Hello, I just started DCS again after a long gap, playing with a friend who has more experience. I noticed I had an option in controls (Right Win + Home) which completes all startup procedures for me. This is handy as I have still not mastered the startup procedure yet, and allows me to quickly begin missions that require a cold start. I will get on top of the cold start procedure, so don't nag me about that :) But, my friend does not have this option when he looks in "Controls", he can see the option to "Cheat Pause" but not startup. I just wondered why this was? I have a Warthog HOTAS and he has Seitek, but surely that makes no difference? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 21, 2017 ED Team Share Posted February 21, 2017 Hi and welcome to the forum, he is most likely using game mode instead of sim in controls. Many aircraft have two different controls, for sim and game mode, I do not think auto start shows in game mode under the cheat category 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Darkfury
Thanks a lot. He definately plays in sim mode, but as you say maybe he selected that when looking at the controls. I will check with him.
Darkfury
All sorted thanks. You got it in one. When he checks in A10-C Sim mode it is there, he just wasnt scrolling down far enough as it is below "CMSP Panel". (The wombat).
