the end of Saitek game controllers...

All the old numbers are disconnected after their sale, no call forwarding. I called Logitech and they don't have an expected start-up date for product support. Currently 24-48 hours is what you will have to wait for an email response, maybe longer. I haven't seen any of their hardware on the shelves for a long time. Does anyone have anything to add besides being very gentle with your product?

Thank you.

I am glad that the only Saitek product currently installed is my trim wheel. I have a set of Combat Pedals and a Flight Panel on the shelf in the sim room. Both of them are for sale if anyone is interested.

I suspect that Logitech is not in a hurry to take up support for anything from Saitek/MadCatz.

Canada is no problem. I have shipped to there several times. Sith can vouch for that.

Pedals are $100 plus shipping, though it may take a couple of days to come up with a suitable box (I don't have the original box).

The Flight Panel is $50 plus shipping, though I imagine the pedals are what you are interested in.

I do have an X-56 and a throttle quadrant from Saitek in my joystick collection but, since I have never used them, I am holding on to them. I just need to thin down the inventory of stuff in my sim room.

See what I mean! :helpsmilie: You can see the pedals on the left.

Nice. You're right that it's the pedals, but in need to think about it. Just wanted To know if it was in a wife approved range!

Btw, they are in great shape and thus far have not exhibited any issues, other than that they aren't as nice as my Crosswinds.

I think its been a year at least since they took over. Could it be they're looking to take out the best of the Saitek technology and build their own product?

I don't know what their plan is. Buying out a competitor is never a bad plan though.

Hopefully they will embrace Hall sensors for any future products. Cheap pots has always been one of the great failings of Saitek gear.

Btw, sorry for hijacking your thread. :)
