Today I found this amazing video, a Cockatoo acting like a dog

 

I'm amazed by how this bird thinks he's a dog...

 

Love it!

 

I know these little guys are very smart, but really, is this a typical behaviour?

I used to have a macaw that learned about 40 different words, phrases, and sound effects. It would scream along with me as I whistled Bridge on the River Kwai and would make a slurping sound any time I was about to drink something.Also learned to mimic my frequent belching quite well.

Parrots / parakeets are some of the cheekiest creatures of this planet :D.
