MegOhm_SD Posted February 8, 2017 Share Posted February 8, 2017 I have recently started using the SU33 and Kurnestov to practice Carrier landings/Ops in the Open Beta. This is fine for now as I dont want to use the Mods available in the OB. I havent tried this in a very long time. I think I remember that the JBD use to come up prior to Launch off the deck. Is there a certain way you have to set up your mission in the ME to have it work correctly or is it broken...or did I just imagine it so long ago? I do get permiision to land...but Not for T/O. Does this have anything to do with Radio comms and permission for take off? My mission building skills are nil. We see 2016 as a big year for aircraft carrier operations as we plan to release both Nimitz-class aircraft carrier and Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier modules. Both of these modules will be incredibly detailed models with working elevators, interior hanger bays, animated ship systems, and the ability to walk around inside the ships. In multiplayer, you never get the JBD because there is no Takeoff Permission option in the ATC menu.
