Best Profile for HOTAS Warthog?

Just about to start on the KA50 and I wondered what is the recommended profile for the HOTAS Warthog? There are loads out there, from TM's own to ED's to various user downloads.

Any advice?

Thanks.

With the clickable cockpit it's less of an issue; I would (and did!) bind the functions found on the cyclic and collective but beyond that I'd recommend starting with a barebones approach and finding the switches in the cockpit you need.

Once you're comfortable with what you need to do to be effective it will start to become apparent what will be convenient for you to have on all the switches and buttons and bits and bobs. :)

I know what you are saying, but I quite like to have a good starting point, and develop it from there.

Another question, why is it that I can't load the ED profiles? When I select 'load profile' and navigate to the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Input\ka-50\joystick folder, DCS doesn't see any of the .lua files?

Perhaps the folder is there for you to save your configuration too once setup?

Here is a Ka-50 profile you can take a look at. KA-50 Thrustmaster Warthog profile

Edit: May need tweaking tho, as it's a little old.

Thanks David, but I looked at that profile before, and it doesn't work in 1.5.

However, I remembered the ones I used for A-10C and others, also contains a Ka50 one with some consistency across aircraft, so I'm using that.

And no, that folder is not setup to save to, I think the issue is that the profiles contained within are old and don't work in 1.5.
