GGTharos
No problems whatsoever with my G15. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
VF2_Sarge
Hmm...any suggestions? When I press [ = "At", ] = [, \ = ], and ` = "Kanji". Those are the only issues that I have found so far. I guess I could try reinstalling it. I would hate to have to reinstall LOMAC, that always seems to be an impossible task.
VF2_Sarge
I don't think programing is the issue. It is the recognition of keyboard command inside of Lock-on. The keyboard is telling one thing but Lock-on it seeing something else. BTW, reinstalling of G15 software didn't work.
VF2_Sarge
Ok...not G15 issue....now I'm using my stock Plug and play keyboard...same issues.
VF2_Sarge
No, I haven't. But I dont' understand how that will fix my problem. When I press a key on my keyboard, Lock-on isn't recognizing that keystroke..ie... Key Press......................... Text that is Displayed `.................................... the word "Kanji" =.................................... the word "PrevTrack" [ .....................................the word "At" ] .....................................[ \ .....................................] ' ......................................the word "Colon" It's not really a problem if I use these keys..no biggy But if I want to program these key to...lets say my X52....it doesn't see the word "Kanji" it sees "`" and therefore no response is given. Same with my G15 keyboard. If I program the keystorke "[", Lock-on doesn't see [ as a valid command, and I can not program the word "At" as a key command when programming my G15 for X52. VF2_Sarge
Found this is the Keyboard.cfg..but have no idea what to do with it. KEY_LBRACKET = "["; KEY_RBRACKET = "]"; KEY_APOSTROPHE = "'"; KEY_GRAVE = "`"; /* accent grave */ KEY_BACKSLASH = "\\"; KEY_PREVTRACK = "PrevTrack"; /* Previous Track (KEY_CIRCUMFLEX on Japanese keyboard) */ KEY_AT = "At"; /* (NEC PC98) */ KEY_COLON = "Colon"; /* (NEC PC98) */ KEY_KANJI = "Kanji"; /* (Japanese keyboard) */
VF2_Sarge
I understrand what you were saying. However, my joystick commands come from a seperate program. I have an X52 and use the profiler.
VF2_Sarge
Well...I just discovered another interesting problem. It is not only in Lock-on but, Pacific Fighters also. However there are minor differences. So now I don't know what to do.
VF2_Sarge
Ruggbutt....I would like to thank you for your assistance today. I just looked inside my control panel and found that I had like 4 different types of keyboard enumerators running. I disabled all but my G15 and what would you know. Thanks for your patients. Mobius1
Here's a totally off-topic question for you, how wide is the G15? Sorry to hijack the thread for a second, thanks. Stupid thermals...
VF2_Sarge
Only about 2 inches wider than a regular keyboard.
