ENO
Please see attached video that shows the nature of the problem. Running latest version of 2.0... Short version: Vehicles just move on their own with no inputs at all. 0 triggers... 0 waypoints... They just drive off about 500 meters and stop in no particular formation. https://youtu.be/jq4piJFAFQs For some reason the youtube attached version doesn't want to work Mission attached. I've since tried late activating the group. Still ends up leaving on its own. VERY frustrating.Training1.miz Edited January 23, 2017 by ENO "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. Grimes
Can't say I've seen a bug like that before. The good news is I reproduced it on the public build, but wasn't able to on the tester version. Will keep an eye out to see if it occurs again. Grimes
So I guess the prudent question is why you have a hold task when no WP are setup. Without the hold task the group would remain stationary. Are you trying to make it so they don't scatter when shot? If so you should just do the Option>Dispersion Under fire setting to off. If the group did have another WP and the formation was set to custom>default then the group would remain stationary. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. ENO
Thanks for looking into it Grimes- The hold was, as you mentioned, just to keep them from scampering about. I knew about the dispersal under fire but figured if I didn't turn it on then it defaulted to off. To be honest the hold was just a redundancy. I did delete the group and then rebuild one and that seemed to fix things. "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. Winston 60
I'm always changing the Dispersion Under Fire option for my vehicles. It defaults to ON for 10 minutes, which for me is usually a bit too long.
