352ndDeacon
If the host of a mp mission has WWII German mods installed so that certain objects or vehicles are within the mission, does a player, who enters the mp and not have these mods installed, see them and can they destroy them? Also with the same scenario, if plane mods are installed on the host machine, can players, who do not have these plane mods installed, see and destroy these planes? WinterH
As far as I know, plane mods look like Su-27 to people who don't have them installed, not sure how it goes for ground objects. 104th_Maverick
Clients cannot see any mods installed server side unless they have them installed themselves mate, the only way this would work is if DCS forced clients to download files installed on the server. In DCS there is no forced downloads from the server, this is for your protection to stop mission makers adding dodgy files that your PC would then download.
