Poor VR performance near new clouds/fog...

Last night we flew the good old FOB Vetka mission...

It has a low cloud deck and fog all over the place...

My VR performace dropped from the usual 45FPS to the lowish 17-25FPS flying in those conditions...

I started my usual MiG-21 Coldstart quickie for testing and noticed new clouds and bad FPS when they are rendered taking a bigger portion of the screen...

Is there a setting that affects the way clouds are rendered?

Can something be done to make those new clouds and fog go easy on the GPU?

Fiddled a little with options...

Turned off Transparency Supersampling from 2x Supersampling to Off/Multisampling and Enable Maxwell sample interleaving(MFAA) to Off in NVIDIA Inspector...

Now all is back to 45FPS...

Seems like that was too much for the poor GTX970
