Datek
Oh yes I felt it. Huge hit with fog using the latest drivers. Edit-actually it seems like a huge hit fog or not on the ground. All is well up in the air. Edited December 9, 2016 by Datek
9.JG27 DavidRed
good to know...so i will not bother with installing the drivers then.
Ala12Rv-watermanpc
Yes, I notices exactly the same a few weeks ago...fog in 1.5 causes a big fps drop. Sadly, now I upgraded to a 1070 so cant compare but as I said, YES, you are not crazy, there seems to be something weird going on with fog now. Winston 60
Nvidia drivers? Perhaps new is not always better? mmaruda
Yeah NV drivers have been increasingly crappy recently. With all the data mining and stuff I am trying to find the last good batch.
Ala12Rv-watermanpc
Yes, there are some problems with nvidia drivers...take a look at my post here about drivers problems: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=172465 After upgrading to a 1070 a few days ago, I just realized that it struggles to maintain 60fps over nevada at max settings at 2560x1080. I can swear you, I flew exactly the same mission with my old 970 at exactly the same settings (also in nvcp) and I got 60fps!!!!...after updating to 372.54 I couldnt barely get 30fps and the card was crazy hot...now with the 1070 I can barely maintain 60 fps which makes my wonder if I would have get like 120fps with the 1070 if performance were the same as it was... Shortcut
Try turning Threaded Optimization in the Nvidia Control Panel off. It works great in X plane 11. 13700K, MSI Z690 D4 Edge wifi, Swiftech H360X3 Cooling with Corsair Water Block, Gigabyte 4090 OC, 64gb Trident Z 3600 CL16, Evga 850W G2 power supply, TM Warthog, MFG Crosswinds Rudder, TrackIR 5, HP Reverb 2, Pimax Crystal

splash
I'm using 376.33 with great performance under 1.5 and 2.0, but in 1.5 sometimes GPU and CPU are at low usage and fps drops below 50 fps or so. I'll try Threaded Optimization.
rss0900
I've always run dcs in 3072x768 surround mode on 2 4gb 670's in sli, tonight I switched to 5760x1200 and the frames dropped by more than half. from 60fps to around 25-28. driver version 376.33 I dont know if that would ber expected in moving to that resolution or if the driver is to blame. Should dcs look better at 5760x1200 over 3072x768?

BitMaster
What about debug mode on the 10xx cards now ? finally disabled or still enabled ? Guru3d.com says this 378.77 release is a hotfix for the debug mode left on on 10xx cards with 378.66 but some say it is still turned on with this release. Running 378.66 myself with excellent fps..blown away by the fps ....and debug is OFF for my Maxwell GPU :D I dont want this .77 update...it just runs smooth as is.
