FragBum Posted December 8, 2016 Share Posted December 8, 2016 Okay I had noticed a decrease in frame rate on DCS 1.5x but it happened at about the same time as I also started to modify graphics settings in DCS 1.5 as well as changed RAM and didn't think too much about for a while. However DCS seems notably down on frame rate at times compared to what I remember it when I fist started on DCS 1.5x. But that's memory so not scientific I'm afraid. I recently downloaded DCS 2.03 (now 2.04x) which runs mostly buttery smooth compared to 1.5x on the same PC and with DCS 2.0xI can now crash in much better detail and much better precision. :thumbup: Nvidia 980ti intel 5930 6/12core 32GB DDR4 RAM 2,0x seems to utilise more cores than DCS 1.5x as well not that it matters the Huey runs out at maybe 12% CPU utilisation (which clearly means you can have more going on with the program :) ). Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic. System specs??what drivers are you refering exactly??...I just installed my new gtx 1070 yesterday (latest drivers 376.19) and I can barely get 45 fps at some spots over Vegas at maxed settings, 4xMSAA, NO DoF and 2560x1080...the card runs @1924Mhz core...quite dissapointed.. Avio Posted December 8, 2016 Author Share Posted December 8, 2016 My specs - i7 6770 3.5 Ghz, Gtx1080, 32 Gb RAM. Res 1980x1080. Maxed out most settings except no lens flare, dirt. Flat shadow. Also just patched with latest Nvidia driver. Your res is higher. Maybe that could be eating up the fps. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
