Taking small requests

Heya A-10C community, I'm looking for some fun projects.

I've got quite the knack for livery work, and I've simply run out of ideas. I do small things with liveries, such as adding patches to pilot skins, adding nose art, retexturing pilot helmets, etc.

I think small individual touches like these are what makes DCS so neat. Here are some examples:

Thanks to Tom Weiss for the 122nd Fighter Wing "Blacksnakes" Livery seen in the picture. All edits were made with his permission.

I'm open to just about any suggestions. You can reply here on this thread or PM me if you'd like to make a request.

Thanks!

Soooo I have two hopefully small requests...

First how about correcting the year Information on some of the A-10C / F-15C skins so we can better model individual squadrons more correctly.

Second, any chance you can look at a couple of the F-16 skins available in the user downloads section and get them working in 2.0? Of particular interest are the Agressor Black and Blue schemes. Overall they are fine but canopies / glass are gorked and tail numbers have issues.

Thanks for the offer,

Gary

Certainly! Sorry about the late response, I've been out for the holidays. I'll take a look at some of the liveries and keep you posted here. Thanks!

HOW DARE YOU TAKE TIME FOR FAMILY OVER THE HOLIDAYS...

:smilewink:

I cannot help you with the artwork but I can help with research...Using information from airliners.net, I came up with the following correct tails for each F-15C scheme...

65th Aggressor SQN (WA) Flanker

Default Tail Number: 80-XXX

78-XXX would give more options...

Actual Tails:

78-0470

78-0489

78-0504

78-0515

78-0518

78-0532

80-0010 (Already Available)

80-0018 (Already Available)

65th Aggressor SQN (WA) MiG

Default Tail Number: 85-XXX

78-XXX would give more options...

Actual Tails:

78-0480

78-0502

78-0503

78-0511

78-0517

78-0538

80-0024 (Available)

82-0028 (Available) (Different scheme from default)

65th Aggressor SQN (WA) SUPER_Flanker

Default Tail Number: 80-XXX

78-XXX would give more options...

Actual Tails:

78-0494

78-0509

78-0528

There is also this version: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1578336/

which is very nice but has a static tail number...

433d Weapons Squadron (WA) Standard

Default Tail Number: 83-0019

83-XXX without static tail number would give more options...

83-0012

83-0014

83-0019 (Available)

83-0027

83-0041

84-0024

84-0028

84-0029

I hope this info helps.

Happy New Year.
