Any projected update for 1.5.5?

 

Is not working on DCS 1.5

 

We don't use 1.5, so no, not likely. Least of all because we wouldn't know in what way it doesn't work.

Part of the textures are below the terrain.

 

And the tan circles arent present anymore ( Both 1.5 and 2.0 )

They are almost invisible from medium distance. The tan circle was great to spot the targets but now with only the tires is barely visible.

 

In Nevada the visibility is better but i miss a lot the tan circle around.

The sand circle background is removed intentionally as it was causing clipping issues. The objects need to be put on flat terrain as DCS clips them below the ground otherwise, I don't think anything can be done about that from our side, but I'll mention it to Noodle.

 

Noodle designed them for the NTTR as that's where we use them and what they were always meant for. So issue specific to other theatres will likely not be catered for.

I understand your decision.

 

In Nevada this mod is very good but for Caucasus is useless because the visibility problem.

Can someone tell me how to use this mod? I've read a lot of good things about it.

what do you mean by use?

 

One use would be to shoot at it, another one would be to train with them...

 

Perhaps someone else could help with my question.

I have no idea how to access this content in-game, what it does etc. I've seen a YouTube vid where someone is using it in a tutorial, but as I say, I have no idea how or what to do with it!

Yes, it's installed OK as it appears on the DCS desktop and Module Manager.

I am fairly new to DCS and have spent the last few weeks learning the A10C, going through training and the manual. I have not delved any further into DCS.

When you say 'placed as static objects', are you referring to mission building? Or something else?

The Range Targets Pack has been updated to the 21JAN17 release, adding more than 100 new objects. It should also fix the issue some were having with target visibility.

Nooo :( I use both on a lot of practice missions ... buahh. Hopefully the 476th will update them soon.

We’re aware and will attempt to fix. Unfortunately ED doesn't share any information to anyone that isn't an approved 3rd party so hopefully we can figure it out. If not IMO it will make the NTTR map utterly useless. IMO it's hard to call something the DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range Map without the community mod to realistically populate said ranges.
