Menessis Posted November 10, 2016 Share Posted November 10, 2016 After the Beta update I can't get into the 3D world. Crashes every time within seconds, both online and off line. Windows says I have 8 GB ram and the old GTX 550 is only 1. But it all worked ok before the upgrade. I just tried the Alpha install 2.5.16 and it works. Thanks Menessis The Requirements Changed with the Integration of DirectX 11 (v 1.5 and 2.0) The Minimum Requirements are set, however user may be able to run w/ system below minimum requirements but it's not recommended or supported. I got new ram, which doesn't want to work properly. My system is only using half. But I do have 8 gig that is working. I installed a new PSU and a GTX 970. Just did the Beta update. Perrete Posted December 4, 2016 Share Posted December 4, 2016 (edited) CTD! :( I think you have a bad dimm. Or....... The two dimm's must have the same memory speed. Try removing them and start the pc using only one.... First try with one and later the other one. If twice of them works, the dimms are OK. Menessis Posted December 6, 2016 Author Share Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Update. Mbendi1, I put in 4 new dimms (4 x 4 gig) Didn't test them one at a time yet. I just got into Nevada...I haven't done any updates there for a while ver. 2.0.2.52369.
