[Official] SimShaker for Aviators

It's the "GFeelinEffect (USB Only)".

It is always active, even on 1G. I have to reduce it to 5 to make it almost go away, but not completely disappear.

In the way it is now - it is acting almost as engine rumble.

Can the updated SSA (todays) interfere with my network? It seems to be shutting off or paralyzing the computers internet access it is installed on. The internet everywhere else in the house works fine.

SSA should update automatically. The current stable version is 1.2.0.0...

If you are on the latest version, you should check the export.lua if there is everything ok...

SSA internally communicates with DCS through internal network sockets. Thus, if your firewall blocks this, SSA may not work. However, SSA does not use any outgoing connection to the internet...

thanks for the reply - so if it were correctly running when I was in the cockpit it should be showing the plane type as F18 and allowing you to tweak the FFB settings in the drop down for F18?therefore:

1)where can I check the version number?

2)where can I check the export.lua and what should it look like?

3)what is the correct start up process - in terms of what I need to start up first before DCS (normally just use the red icon then start DCS - was then getting into the settings screen when DCS was running but It appears no option for F18 and wasn't letting me select generic jet settings) - note am using DCS in VR……..

The version number is shown in the about dialogue or titelbar of SSA.

New planes will only show up in SSA once you flew them in DCS with SSA running!

Thank you. I have been one of those that had some issues on MY PC and that was the cause of my functioning with SSA. When reading many typical issues people are having with the system you put out there for us, it seems almost all are just like me, having problems with the loading, using , and the correct characteristics with the program you have provided. Once we get OUR personal problems resolved, then what you have done for us is really very, very correct in your release. Thank you for SSA and thanks for being advising and patient with all us out here who think the problems are with you when in reality, the problems are due to us.

It should update the current SSA version. Just run the exe, it's basically the same file which would be downloaded by the updater. I hope this will work...

Thanks! Using your hint I can find the jeatseat handler and the UWVeditor. But no SSA. Starting SSA normally even brings a framework error now. Framework is up to date.
