Thisdale
Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out a way to rate or grade formation flying by script. When setting up AIs, you can tell them to escort and maintain a certain position around the escortee, but i'm trying to figure out the same method for Clients (players). What i'd like to do is; be able to determine at which distance from the lead, each plane is flying. For example; Ideal position would be 5 meters aft and 2 meters behind. So the ranking could be 4-6 aft and 1.5 to 2.5 behind = good position 6-8 aft and 2.5 to 5 behind = bad position and so on... Any idea? feefifofum
This isn't that precise but UNIT INSIDE MOVING ZONE as part of a CONTINUOUS trigger set to increase a flag will check your relative position in a radius around the lead aircraft and increase your flag by 1 every second the condition is met. This could be used to set up a scoring system that determined how many seconds of the flight you were at a relative distance. I didn't know you could use this on a moving target... Do we have unlimited flags? http://www.youtube.com/konotani Computer Specs: Z97X-gaming Mobo 4670k i5 24G DDR3 GTX 1080 Asus PG278Q Rog Swift 27-INCH G-SYNC Valve Index Thrustmaster Warthog Fanatec Clubsport Pedals (used as Rudders) Thrustmaster T300 Arcantera Wheel Obutto R3volution rig
feefifofum
1-9999 by default. Using MIST you can go up to 5 digit flags I believe. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
BadHabit
There is a airshow mission with the ka-50 module which scripts formation position warnings maybe you should take a look at this one.
