Precog
Hi guys, thinking of getting a buttkicker gamer 2 for my VR setup. It seems the attachment is for the center pole of office type chairs. I have a standard 4 legged chair which I like, so was just wondering about mounting options in this case - do you screw it onto the underside of the chair? attach it to one of the 4 legs? Cant find the full manual on the web so any feedback appreciated :) Check out my 'real world' video series [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Brewnix
Hello Precog just a thought for your chair since you don't have a center post I would check in to something like this. http://www.ricmotech.com/product_p/rmt-bkg2-mnt.htm You could buy a piece galvanized floor flange buy the right pipe diameter for you buttkicker 2 and mount to the bottom center of the chair. http://www.essentialhardware.com/world-wide-sourcing-27-1g-galvanized-malleable-floor-flange-1-207589.html?utm_campaign=google&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=CNrx6YOm_84CFReSfgodG4ILjg I wouldn't buy the part from the first link just a idea but local hardware you might be able to come up with something similar. Precog
Thanks for the info Brewnix. That's given me a few ideas. I just noticed there is also a butt kicker simulation kit- I presume you can just screw it to the underside of a chair. Again there is no manual... would this work OK? http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/buttkicker-simulation-kit.html Check out my 'real world' video series [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Kuky
The gamer 2 version is I think too weak, you'd be better off with the simulation kit version, and yes, you can just screw the shaker to the seat. No longer active in DCS...

Sea_Gull
Where are you going to order your buttkicker from? The website has said they have been out of stock for months now. I am asking because I would love to get my hands on one too.

I have screwed it to my cockpit chair just below the center of seat near my stick.I can't compared to the buttkicker 2 cause i have never used it. So I have a wooden cockpit I have built and it shakes it pretty good.. I got mine from buttkicker.com http://www.thebuttkicker.com/simulation-kit I see your across the pond and looks like your site sells a 240volt version of course mine is 110v FYI.
