Hi Werner,

As you can see on the pictures I use the original parts but i removed the 2 PCB and the rear connector. The Arduino is therefore plugged on the internal connectors (2x2x11 pins + 1x2x10 pins).

I tested the continuity on each pin to discover how it was made and i found all the functions.

For exemple the 2 digits are coded each on 5 pins (1 pin is the common) like a binary number:

0: 0000

1: 1000

2: 0100

3: 1100

4: 0010

5: 1010

6: 0110

7: 1110

8: 0001

9: 1001

10: 0101

11: 1101

12: 0011

Absolutely stunning work matbog.

I'm in process of making buttonbox for Mirage and was wandering if would be possible to get wiring (component list?) and DCS bios files for: alarm light panel, autopilot and PCA. It would save me a lot of time. :helpsmilie:

Hi Treker.

Thanks for your kind words!

Unfortunately I have no wiring diagram to give to you but you really don't need one.

Just download Dcs Bios and install it. Then you launch it and you go to the Documentation section. All is explain, it is really simple if you just want to interface DCS with some Buttons and LED. It is just a matter of copying and pasting some line on your arduino sketch and change the number of the inputs and outputs.

For the LED you have to add a resistor in serial with the LED. If your are not familiar with the Ohm's law you can calculate the resistor value on this site: https://www.digikey.fr/en/resources/conversion-calculators/conversion-calculator-led-series-resistor

You can also open a thread to show your project and ask for help if needed.

Good luck for you project and show us some pictures!

Dear friends,

I have not posted any updates since a while!!!

Today I deleted my Google album showing the construction of my cockpit😑 I feel so stupid!

I know some of you were following this album so here is the new link to access it: https://photos.app.goo.gl/iisC9DzBihXibL5x8

I take the opportunity to show 2 pictures.

Have a nice weekend!

Hi there!

Almost 1 year since the last update but I did not make much progress on the dashboard...

Sadely I have very litlle time to spend on my cockpit but I manage to start and finish an old project that I had in mind: Mirage 2000C grip for Thrustmaster/Virpil base.

The base 3D model was made by Tibow from Checksix forum.  He very kindly give me his model so that I can  integrate all the triggers, paddles, buttons and electronics to make it a usable grip.

Here is some pictures  of the grip itself (it is printed on my resin printer then painted and varnished):
