Core 2 Duo

Recommended Posts

Is anyone running a new Intel Core 2 Duo CPU?

The benchmarks are showing the lowest Core 2 Duo ahead of most AMD products.

Wondering how well they handle LOMAC.

Buddy...you read my mind.... I too wonder how this cpu could tackle LOMAC

Wait.... Polecat has one! Ill harass him for a run down

detailed system specs from old and new machine would be interesting. Settings all maxed óut? What about FPS over big Cities with cockpit view all zoomed out ? (min fps is most interesting fo me. Over a City i go es low as 12 fps atm with all maxed except water=medium and view distance=medium)

My Specs: AMD 3400+, 2GB Corsair, X800XT-PE

Sorry for the slow response. I have everything set to high with heat blur on. I run 1024x768@150Hz 8x anis & 8x anti. Generally the average lowest frames I am seeing now are 23-25. In the cockpit at standard zoom straight ahead on tarmac I get 32fps. It is a very noticable difference so far. I am seeing a significant improvement in LOMAC frames but not as much as in some other sims. I am connecting my CPU Water block tommorow and will be using some DDR2 800 memory to OC.

As to compared to what?
