Update for the head tracking in VR: The head tracking works fine for the out-of-cockpit views. Get in the plane and lateral and forward/backward views are not right.

The much larger VR text for radios is MUCH appreciated!

Anybody have issues with Pixel Density?

When I try anything higher than 1.0 the menu disappears and I have to close the game task manger!

Oh man you aren't kidding. Move forward and backward and the whole aircraft rocks up and back like a boat. Seriously nausea inducing. This update is a major step backward for me. Is there a way to remove the update or do I have to uninstall everything and install the stable build? The beta is unusable like this for me. I feel sick after 5 minutes of that boat action.

Headtracking is no longer 1:1 with head movement. It's hard to tell if it's a warp issue with the rendered image or if there is crosstalk in the head movement axis. Either way it results in the view appearing to distort as you look around in cockpit. Very noticeable when looking left and right in the gazelle (the view also moves up and down). I need to test with other aircraft yet.

Best way I can describe it is moving forward and backward causes a rocking motion forward and backward in the cockpit like that of a boat on the waves. Very, very nausea inducing. Sitting in the cockpit the front of the aircraft is noticeably higher as well and makes it look like the front is 15 degrees higher than the rear. 5 minutes of that and I was ready to hurl. How to uninstall the update and go back?

Check the Thread for Possible Fix,

Worked for the dozen or so people that I talked to on Skype.

Thanks SkateZilla. My issue with beta and VR pre dates the latest beta release. I reinstalled tonight and the issue persists. After reinstalling (I didn't redownload the installer) I get two beta icons one standalone, one multiplayer. VR will not work with the standalone icon but it does with the multiplayer icon. I have no issues in 1.5 release or 2.0 alpha. Didn't 1.5 do away with the multiplayer icon? I think I need to redo beta from my 1.5 release version.

Yeah, for me the tracking issue seems to be that indeed it doesn't seem to be 1:1 movement anymore. In the mirage for instance if I lean forward I seem to be moving diagonally up and forward (+Y Axis, and +Z Axis) instead of just forward along the +Z Axis. It seems to be because the camera is tilted back a bit, and isn't perfectly horizontal.

The Gazelle and the MiG-21 is a bit different in that it is aligned with the horizon, but the movement is over-sensitive and not 1:1.

That is the best way I can describe what I'm feeling with the head tracking.

I am getting this exact same issue with the SU-25T.

I have a clean install Skate so this issue seems to be introduced by the beta update.
