Best DCS setups

Hi all

 

So I'm keen to see your PC DCS setup... Or the best of's :)

 

For now mines nothing, it's a Logitech x3d with dell 24" monitor... About to buy a x55 joystick and I'd love to see what you guys have:

 

Joystick and multi screen setups, or

TrackIR setups, or

Fixed chair with fixed HOTAS setup, or

External instruments

Yes mate. In DCS I run Helios on it, to provide m with a working touchscreen cockpit.

 

Luckily we have some very talented guys in the community who provide Helios profiles for several different aircraft.

 

The one showing is Cap Loz's A 10 profile, and I also use a number by Capt Zeen.

 

Ka50,MI8, P51, and currently awaiting his UH1 Huey with baited breath.

 

If it wasn't for these guys my entire setup wouldn't work, as I don't have a clue where to start programming profiles. ;)

When you run a second monitor can you get it to run map/etc only? what happens with the f15c?

Do you have a link to how to setup additional monitors purely for displaying controls and flight meters?

System: 9700, 64GB DDR4, 2070S, NVME2, Rift S, Jetseat, Thrustmaster F18 grip, VPC T50 stick base and throttle, CH Throttle, MFG crosswinds, custom button box, Logitech G502 and Marble mouse.

I have the best wife, this sits in my dining area! And I am going to build a 2nd seat to match (with some refinements). With the rift on order, it will be 140cm x 100cm instead of the massive thing it is now. Plus having two will make for some great nights dog fighting and doing traps in the F-14 :)
