Kamov Akula
Honestly, I would just get rid of the Steam version of DCS World and get the ED version instead. I am sure there will be more stuff in the future that you will just have to wait for on Steam. I just did this in order to play the Republic Campaign, until then i didn't know the two versions were incompatible. All your modules from Steam will be automatically added to the ED version of DCS world. I didn't even have to go look for key or anything.
cichlidfan
Since the campaign requires DCS v1.5, which is not available except in beta form, then I would guess that Steam will not allow ED to sell software which does not work with the released version of the sim. In short, 'not until DCS v1.5 is out of beta' is the likely answer to the thread title. Kamov Akula
Steam does have DCS 1.5. You have to go to the Steam Library, DCS game properties and "opt in", so its not visible up front, but its there. But beta modules are not there. Zarma
Steam sells games that are still in alpha/developpement so I don't think it's a reason. i9 9900k, 64 Go RAM, RTX 4090, Warthog HOTAS Throttle & Stick, Saitek Combat Rudder, MFD Cougar, Trackir 5 Pro, Multipurpose UFC and Oculus Rift S (when I want some VR), http://www.twitch.tv/zarma4074 / https://www.youtube.com/user/Zarma4074
Drag0nWIng
Why there are so many steam haters and why they will tell everyone don't buy on steam? Is it necessary? Did steam rub the money from your pocket or kill your family? If you don't like steam, you can make a poll "PLZ don't sale game on steam", and I still have many other game to play, and you don't need to leave comments to teach or warn others don't buy DLC on steam, because YOU ARE NOT GAME POLICEMAN OR TEACHER. Kamov Akula
Steam I didn't mean to hate on Steam, I have many other games with them but I realized when I first tried to buy The Republic Campaign that it's just easier to have the ED version of DCS if I want to have access to everything that ED puts out as soon as possible.
