Will be a saturday @ 1600 Zulu Teamspeak Address: escuadron57.mainvoice.net Password: noob2012 This is a multiplayer community event aimed at bringing more action to the classic war-birds. Air-to-ground & air-to-air objectives. Event Rules: -No screenshots during mission please, this may cause lag some players. -If you arrive late to the event, your aircraft may be taken by someone else. -1 life, no respawn, after your kill is registered in the chat please exit server. -MiG-21 will not have radar guided missiles and/or no nuclear bombs available. -Air defenses at starting bases are immortal to protect pilots on the ground, however, attacks against players at airbases are allowed so defend it! More rules may be added after considerations have taken place. -No F-15, Su-27 and MiG-29s will be flown in this event. Slots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Post below 2 selections in order of preference. Aircrafts available are: BLUE COALITION (Available for mission guests, claim your spot now!) x2 A10A x4 A10C (=MAC=, Goldsmack, Maverick-X, OP-Sniper) x3 Hawk (Ells228 ) x2 Su25T x2 L-39ZA x2 F86 (Sim Flyer) x2 MiG15 (TurboRush, 401TIGGER) reserve: Farlander x4 MiG21 (Chimango, pavlov) reserve: Farlander x2 Ka50 (Flappie) x4 Huey x3 Mi8 RED COALITION (Reserved for ESC57 and EDP71 Pilots) x2 Su25 x4 A10C (Hogan, Snake, Ariel, Falcon) x3 Hawk (Iberian) x2 Su25T (Aleman, Alpenwolf) x2 L-39ZA x4 MiG15 x4 MiG21 (EDP71 Rush, EDP71 Honos) x2 KA50 (EDP71st Murmansk) x4 Huey (EDP71st ofCross) x3 Mi8 Short briefing Search & Destroy enemy camps, for every enemy camp you destroy a friendly helicopter will fly infantry to control Senaki-Kolkhi airport! Prevent enemy from deploying infantry at the airport by protecting your camps or attacking their troop carrying helicopters before they arrive to the airport. Whoever controls the airport in the end WINS! or...shoot down all enemy pilots = Early victory. Target Area: Senaki-Kolkhi area. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail... We are evaluating the remaining blocking bugs in 1.5 and we will make a decision on Monday. It will come down to which bugs we are and are not comfortable including in even an Open Beta. But as mentioned, it was aimed for when DCS 1.5 was released. Since the release has taken some time, and the holidays are coming soon. I'll postpone the event and will create a new pilot call-up when things have settled down with the simulator and the holidays. :) Hope to see you guys soon!
